unable to enter the service menu samsung galaxy s

    heloo i have samsung galaxy s .i try to enter service menu by dialing*#*#1 9 7 3 2 8 6 4 0 # * # * but nothing happend ..
    can enyone guide me how to enter into service mode .my problem is im from india and i brought samsung galaxy s from canada .now i want to use 3g services but my sgs not responding even i try to enable 3g from network mode i did everything .then someone told me u need to change the frequency to 2100 manualy .. so if u ppl know something about this please guide me

    DarkyOTA> general> installed apps ...you need to install ServicemodeApp.apk
    Then you can use the codes

    i download the app but unable to install ..i got the error fail to instal i put the file into root

    in the DarkyOTA app there should be an option to reinstall system apps, check there to see if you can find the service mode apk, if not, then I imagine you could either reflash the ROM with a full wipe so that it installs the application, or maybe you can do an adb push right into your phone. Also, try using a file manager like astro to install it, that might work. Good luck!!

    go back to DarkyOTA>General>Uninstall System Apps. Find ServicemodeApp.apk and select it/uninstall. Go into Install System Apps and find ServicemodeApp.apk and select/install. Should install automatically.
